MAHB names Mohamed Rastam as acting group CEO

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood to step down as MD at contract’s end on Oct 24

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) group chief financial officer Mohamed Rastam Shahrom will assume the role of acting group chief executive officer, effective October 25.

In a statement today, MAHB said Rastam joined the airport operator on January 1, 2020. 

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood is stepping down from his role as managing director at the end of his contract tenure on October 24. 

“Iskandar was appointed as the MD of MAHB on October 25, 2021, and throughout his two-year tenure, he spearheaded several transformation streams which contributed significantly to the group’s growth, resulting in the group’s firm trajectory towards financial recovery from the impact of the global pandemic,” MAHB said. – October 6, 2023
