KUALA LUMPUR – Thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rains are expected in five states and territories this evening, the Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) has warned.
Affected areas include Kuala Lumpur, and Gombak, Hulu Selangor and Hulu Langat in Selangor.
In Perak, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang and Muallim will be affected and in Negri Sembilan, Seremban and Rembau, said the department on X.
Other affected areas are Kapit, Song and Bintulu in Sarawak.
The weather agency also issued an advisory for strong winds and rough seas in the South China Sea, from January 24 to 28. – January 21, 2024
