One hurt after explosion shakes nasi kandar shop in Bangsar

Fire Dept deploys team to put out blaze at eatery following blast

KUALA LUMPUR – A person has been hurt in an explosion at a nasi kandar shop in Bangsar here today. 

Brickfields police chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood confirmed the incident to Scoop when contacted.

“Yes, there was an explosion at an eatery in Bangsar. So far, one person is injured. We will release more information soon.”

A social media user shared a photo of the shop engulfed in smoke and that the windows were shaking from the blast.

Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue Department also confirmed the incident and a team has been deployed to put out the blaze. – March 6, 2024
