A WORKER from the renowned Pak Mok Lemang Rembau stall, Adam Ali, meticulously cleanses and arranges freshly cut bamboo stalks destined for the creation of lemang.

Each day, hundreds of these bamboo stalks are artfully arranged before being filled with fragrant glutinous rice and set ablaze.
