Photo of the day: Independence through accessibility in Brickfields

7:17 PM MYT

A man with visual impairment crosses the street with his cane at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields. The area is recognised for its accessibility initiatives, particularly for persons with disabilities.

The special pedestrian lanes for people with visual impairment and proper markings or guides on the lanes allow them to walk independently in the area if they are not blocked by anything else. – April 15, 2024
