DESPITE the drizzle, two pedestrians cross the road at Jalan Raja Abdullah in Kuala Lumpur, with an umbrella in one hand and bags in the other.

With rain being a common occurrence, many Malaysians come prepared with umbrellas and some even with raincoats to ensure that the weather is no obstacle for them to carry on with their day-to-day routines.

According to the Meteorological Department’s website, a thunderstorm is expected to hit Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Pahang and Selangor tonight. Those in the area are advised to be prepared for extreme weather. – April 25, 2024
