Photo of the day: Some motorists need to go back to driving school

A woman has to weave her way through vehicles blocking her path on a pedestrian crossing as they wait for a change of traffic light signals.

This scene captured at an intersection on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, is a common one anywhere in the Klang Valley, as many motorists pay little heed to Rule 38 of the Road Traffic Rules (LN166/1959).

Rule 38 requires motorists to stop before the white line at traffic lights and must not obstruct pedestrian crossings. – July 2, 2024
