KUALA TERENGGANU — Terengganu FC (TFC) have bolstered their attacking line-up with the signing of French-born forward Yann Kevin Mabella for the 2025/26 Malaysia League (M-League) season.

Acting chief executive officer of Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB), Mohd Syahrizan Mohd Zain, confirmed that the 29-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Turtles.

Before joining TFC, the 1.83-metre-tall striker played for Racing FC Union in the Luxembourg League and has represented the Congo national team in several international fixtures, including the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

“Yann is our fourth import signing this season, following Nurillo Tukhtasinov, Junior Ngong Sam, and Gabriel Silva Costa,” he said in a statement today.

“One of the main reasons we brought him in is his outstanding record of 22 goals in 29 matches in the Luxembourg League last season, along with his notable performance in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.”

Syahrizan added that Mabella’s versatility in attack — being able to play both centrally and on the flanks — would provide the coaching staff with greater tactical flexibility. — July 4, 2025
