During the same session, Wong Chen (PH-Subang) is scheduled to ask the Women, Family and Community Development Minister about the ministry’s plans to increase the number of shelters in rural areas, and to upgrade existing ones, to meet safety standards and provide adequate psychosocial support.

Meanwhile, Mohd Nazri Abu Hassan (PN-Merbok) will raise a question to the Housing and Local Government Minister about the ministry’s initiatives to help young people own their first affordable homes in urban areas, through accessible financing facilities, and efforts to enhance private sector participation amid rising living costs.
