KUALA LUMPUR – Bersatu’s division in Dungun, Terengganu has been officially dissolved, including all its wings and 13 active branches, according to a statement shared on the party’s official Facebook page today.
“All divisional wings, including Srikandi and Armada, have also been dissolved. Likewise, 13 active branches along with their respective wings have been disbanded,” the statement confirmed.
The statement also provided clarity on the status of assets previously associated with the division, emphasising that the four buildings linked to its operations are not party-owned.
Rather, the buildings have been leased under the name of Datuk Abdul Aziz Ismail, who has been responsible for the rental payments since 2020.
“The rental payments have been borne and settled by him,” the statement read.
Furniture, equipment, and other movable assets inside the premises were also identified as privately purchased and not registered under the party.
“Therefore, any future Bersatu Dungun leadership, the State Leadership Body, or Bersatu Central cannot claim ownership of these properties,” the statement stressed.
Citing Clause 23 of the party constitution on property ownership, the statement clarified that its provisions do not apply in this instance.
“With this clarification, all assets previously used by the Bersatu Dungun Division are the absolute property of Abdul Aziz,” the statement concluded. – February 18, 2026
