Ahmad Radhi Maarof appointed APAD director-general

Agency expresses confidence his leadership will drive land public transport body to greater heights

KUALA LUMPUR — Ahmad Radhi Maarof has been appointed director-general of the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), effective today.

In a statement shared on its official social media page, the agency congratulated Ahmad Radhi on his appointment, describing it as a significant milestone for the organisation.

It expressed hope that his leadership and vision would continue to propel the agency to greater excellence and elevate its performance to a higher level.

Ahmad Radhi was previously the agency’s deputy director-general for development.

The congratulatory was conveyed on behalf of APAD’s management and staff, who extended their best wishes as he assumes the top post.

APAD, which operates under the Transport Ministry, is responsible for regulating and developing Malaysia’s land public transport sector.— February 24, 2026
