KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is 60th in Skytrax’s World’s Top 100 Airports ranking this year.

KLIA’s spot in the 2026 list is a slight improvement from 65th place last year, and is below the San Francisco and above Okinawa airports.

Singapore Changi Airport was again named Airport of the Year 2026, the fourteenth time it has won the top spot since 2000.

In second and third place for 2026 were Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Haneda.

Skytrax in a statement said Changi Airport also won four other major awards – for Best Airport Dining, Best Airport in the 60-70 million passenger category, Best Airport Immigration Service, and Best Airport in Asia.

The awards were handed out at PTE World in London on March 18.

Skytrax said over 575 airports were featured in the survey, which was conducted from August 2025 until February this year. It covered over 100 customer nationalities through an online survey. – March 21, 2026
