MAG said in a statement that Capt Nasaruddin will serve a three-year term until 2029, collaborating with global industry leaders to provide strategic oversight and policy guidance for IATA, which represents more than 370 airlines covering approximately 85 per cent of global air traffic, Bernama reported.

“In this role, he will contribute to guiding the association’s industry committees and subsidiary bodies on critical issues shaping the future of global aviation,” the statement added.
