KUALA LUMPUR – Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) has announced that it will contest 15 seats in the 2026 Johor state election, with its slate of candidates to be revealed later this week.
In a statement, the party said the constituencies were chosen following an analysis of voter trends, survey data and information gathered over the past six months.
“The seats were identified based on voter trends, survey findings and data collected over the past six months, as well as membership support, candidate suitability and campaign readiness,” it said.
The seats identified are Bukit Naning, Mahkota, Tiram, Puteri Wangsa, Johor Jaya, Permas, Larkin, Stulang, Perling, Kempas, Skudai, Kota Iskandar, Bukit Permai, Bukit Batu and Senai.
Bersama said the official announcement of its candidates will take place on Friday at 8pm in Johor Bahru, coinciding with the launch of its Kancil truck campaign.
The party also said registration for polling and counting agents is now open, alongside the rollout of an integrated campaign management system scheduled for launch tomorrow for members and volunteers nationwide.
“The system will allow volunteers to choose campaign activities according to date, time, location and type of work,” it said.
According to Bersama, the platform is part of its broader push towards a more modern and structured election campaign approach.
“We aim to implement a campaign model that relies less on heavy spending and more on volunteer mobilisation,” it said.
The party added that the Johor state election 2026 should not be viewed solely as a contest for political power.
“For Bersama, the Johor state election 2026 is not merely a contest for seats and positions among politicians.
“It is an opportunity to pioneer a political culture that is more focused on solving the people’s problems and the future of the country and the people,” it added. – June 22, 2026
