KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysian fans can catch Formula 1’s long-awaited return to Sepang for as little as RM200, with three-day tickets for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix replacement race now on sale.
According to ticket prices published by the Bahrain International Circuit, Malaysian citizens with a valid MyKad can choose from six ticket categories, with the G Hillstand priced at RM200 for the entire race weekend from Oct 2 to 4.
The race marked Formula 1’s return to the Sepang International Circuit for the first time since 2017, with the Malaysian venue stepping in to host the Bahrain Grand Prix as a replacement after the race could not be held as originally scheduled.
For Malaysian citizens, three-day tickets for the Main Grandstand are priced at RM2,083.40, while the K1 Grandstand costs RM1,386 and the F Grandstand RM1,291.40.
Meanwhile, three-day passes for the B and C Hillstands are priced at RM 809.60, while the G Hillstand offers the cheapest option at RM200.
International fans face higher prices, with tickets ranging from US$218.90 (about RM895) for the B and C Hillstands to US$566.05 for the Main Grandstand.
The F Grandstand is priced at US$376.39, while the K1 Grandstand costs US$350.13.
Grandstand tickets offer seated and rooftop viewing, while the B, C and G Hillstands provide grass or open-air viewing areas.
All listed prices include tax. Transactions by international fans will be processed in Bahraini dinars based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time of purchase.
The three-day tickets cover all sessions from Friday, Oct 2, through Sunday, Oct 4.
Children aged three to six will receive a 25% discount, although the concession does not apply to the G Hillstand.
Children below three years old can enter free of charge but will not be allocated a seat.
