D-Day as Selangor voters decide their next state govt

Voters show up to their respective polling stations as early as 7am, an hour before the doors open

SHAH ALAM – After 14 days of campaigning, it comes down to today as the fate of 138 candidates are in the hands of the Selangor voters as they pick their representative for all 56 seats.

Meanwhile, traffic is congested in areas such as Hulu Kelang, Sg Tua, Bandar Baru Klang as voters rush to cast their ballots at their respective polling stations.

So far, the turnout in the state is at 51% as of 2pm. – August 12, 2023
