KUALA LUMPUR – Green Packet Berhad has appointed Datuk Shahul Hameed Dawood as its new managing director and group CEO, effective today, in a move signalling a strategic repositioning for the technology solutions provider.
The company said the leadership change marks a “bold pivot” as it sets its sights on regional growth, innovation, and inclusive digital advancement.
Shahul brings over three decades of experience across sectors and is known for spearheading national transformation initiatives.
He most recently served as CEO of the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), where he oversaw one of Malaysia’s largest talent development agendas, working closely with industry, academia, and international partners.
“Green Packet has the people, platform, and passion to scale impact beyond Malaysia,” he said in a statement. “This role is not just about leading a company – it’s about aligning technology with real-world progress.”
