Shuhaily new Bukit Aman CID director

The KL police chief is among 18 senior officials involved in the transfer exercise that will take effect on August 30

KUALA LUMPUR – Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has been appointed as the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director effective August 30.

Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) corporate communications chief ACP A. Skandaguru said the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department deputy director Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid will fill the vacancy left by Shuhaily with the rank of CP.

Besides that, the Commercial Crime Investigation Department’s principal assistant director  Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad is appointed as the Penang deputy police chief with the rank of DCP.

“Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre (Pulapol) commander Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin is appointed as Pahang deputy police chief with the rank of DCP,” he said in a statement last night.

Meanwhile, Kedah Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief SAC Alzafny Ahmad was appointed as the PDRM secretary, the Inspector-General of Police Office Secretariat with the rank of DCP.

They are among the 18 senior officials involved in the transfer exercise, all of which will take effect on August 30. – August 11, 2023
