KUALA LUMPUR – Former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Datuk Mohammad Agus Yusoff arrived at the Kajang police headquarters at 2.05pm today.

He is expected to give his statement to the police over a viral video featuring J-Kom junior staffer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, which they claimed was doctored.

Agus, who was flanked by two lawyers, appeared to be cheerful before entering the police station as he waved to media personnel waiting outside.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said Agus will provide his statement at 2pm, at the Kajang police headquarters.

He said apart from Agus, there are several other individuals expected to be called to assist in the investigation of the case.

“…Wahab (J-Kom assistant officer) will be called soon,” he said today.

Meanwhile, Razarudin said police are still investigating the identity of the individual known as “Mr H”.

A video clip of a conversation said to be between Agus and Wahab went viral.

Agus at a press conference on November 17 claimed that the video was edited and that he had filed a police report on the matter. – November 20, 2023
