KUALA LUMPUR – The mysterious “Mr H” is said to be making an appearance at the Presint 11 police station in Putrajaya today to have his statement taken in relation to the Datuk Mohammad Agus Yusoff-Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani video call scandal.

Bernama reported that Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed this as part of the investigation into a viral video of a conversation between former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Agus with a J-Kom employee.

However, the police have yet to reveal Mr H’s identity, only mentioning that he would be called after receiving information from Agus, when his statement was taken on Monday.

While recording his statement, Agus reportedly said he had revealed the identity of the individual, nicknamed Mr H, who was linked to the case, to the police, and also lodged a report against the owner of the TikTok account “Raja Petra”, after an uploaded video revealing his personal details went viral.

Razarudin yesterday urged J-Kom officer Wahab to come forward to assist with the investigation into the case.

“Thus far, no police report related to security threats has been made by Wahab, and we ask him to come forward immediately to help the investigation into the case.”

Agus, at his press conference last Friday, claimed that the video was doctored, and had lodged a police report on the matter.

Wahab, in the same press conference, admitted to recording their conversation for one Mr H within the agency for the purpose of entrapment.

However, Wahab, who has four children, said the conversation in the video was fabricated by “irresponsible parties” trying to tarnish Agus’ reputation, and did not reflect the actual chat they had.

Wahab, who is an assistant officer in J-Kom, said Mr H instructed him to record a conversation with Agus to frame the latter.

Recently, a three-minute-long video clip, showing a supposedly doctored conversation between Agus and Wahab, went viral through social media. – November 22, 2023
