Fahmi presents Deepavali aid to 50 Indian families in Lembah Pantai

Donations of RM100 coupons for each household have been contributed by TNB

KUALA LUMPUR – The Indian community in Lembah Pantai parliamentary constituency today received Deepavali contributions in the form of a RM100 coupon to buy essentials. 

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, who is Lembah Pantai MP, said the donation from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has benefited 50 families of the Indian community in the constituency. 

“Alhamdulillah, the Deepavali contribution to 50 families of the Indian community in Lembah Pantai was carried out today. Thank you TNB for the coupon of RM100 to buy necessities. 

“It is hoped that this donation can help and give attention to the Indian community to further strengthen relations with each other,” he said in a Facebook post tonight. 

Also present at the event was TNB chief regulatory and stakeholder management officer Datuk Shamsul Ahmad. – December 15, 2023
