Remains of man found during car boot sale, shocking patrons and sellers

Body had been in the car for a number of days but was only noticed because of its smell

KUALA LUMPUR – Visitors and sellers at the Damansara Car Boot Sale were in for a major shock when the remains of a man was discovered in a car that was parked close to the area at Kota Damansara, near here, yesterday. 

The discovery of the remains, believed to have been there for the past three to four days, was shared by a car boot sale participant via X (formerly Twitter).

“Someone found a dead body in that (Perodua) Bezza. Apparently the body has been in the car for three to four days but people just started to notice due to the smell. 

In addition to the discovery, it is learnt that the deceased had left a copy of his Identification Card, in addition to a note, calling for the public to contact his family members, behind the car’s windshield.

“Please contact my sister or my brother,” the note allegedly stated.

At press time, Scoop is trying to obtain confirmation from the police in relation to the discovery. – December 25, 2023
