[UPDATED] Man shot dead in Puchong Prima 3, shocking residents

KUALA LUMPUR – A man, believed to have been shot dead, was found inside a car on the road shoulder in Puchong Prima near Subang Jaya, this afternoon.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, who confirmed the incident, did not reveal details about the victim or who shot him.

“I will issue a media statement about the incident and the case soon.”

A forensic team is gathering evidence from the car interior since 5.30pm. 

A police vehicle later left the scene with the body at about 6.15pm.

However, in a 39-second clip posted on X, which has since made the rounds on social media, several men were seen shouting over each other before a loud bang was heard.

The video appears to have been recorded by a resident from a balcony overlooking the area. – January 14, 2024
