Blogger ‘Steadyaku47’ Hussein Abdul Hamid dies at 77

His death comes after being admitted to HKL since last Thursday following haemorrhagic stroke

KUALA LUMPUR – Blogger “Steadyaku47” Hussein Abdul Hamid died from stroke complications at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) here at 5.50am today.

He was 77.

Datuk Hamidah Mohd Yusoff, a family member, confirmed the blogger’s passing.

She said Hussein’s remains would be taken to Masjid Solehin Pulapol for funeral prayers before being laid to rest at the Raudhatul Sakinah Phase 2 Muslim cemetery in Gombak following Zohor prayers.

Hamidah said Hussein had been warded to HKL’s Tunku Abdul Rahman Neurology Institute since last Thursday following a haemorrhagic stroke after falling unconscious at a shopping mall in the city.

He leaves behind a son and a daughter. 

Hussein was Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s schoolmate at the Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Perak. – February 15, 2024
