KUALA LUMPUR – Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar, the 12-year-old who was found this morning after being missing since Tuesday, is in good health with no physical injuries.

Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya confirmed this in a statement today.

He said that the police had gone to the place where Dhia was found after receiving information from her mother, Syarifah Rosfazila Syed Muhammad Fazili, around 1am this morning.

“The police met with the Neighbourhood Watch Areas members to gather further information regarding Dhia’s disappearance when they received the call from her mother.

“Her mother said that several people found Dhia wandering alone around Taman Sri Rampai, here.

“The officers were then mobilised to the location, where Dhia was found in good condition without any injuries,” he said.

He said that Dhia’s disappearance is under investigation as a missing person case, with statements from eight individuals having been recorded to aid in the investigation.

Previously, Scoop reported that Dhia’s mother confirmed she had been found wandering alone in the Sri Rampai area.

The 41-year-old mother said that they took Dhia to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further check-ups.

The 12-year-old girl was reported to have fled her home on Tuesday after allegedly having a disagreement with her mother on the same day.

Syarifah Rosfazila said that the last time she was with Dhia was at their residence in Flat Sri Selangor, Jalan San Peng, here, around 4pm.

She added that the disagreement between them stemmed from a WhatsApp message she received from Dhia’s school teacher, notifying her of Dhia’s absence from school on Tuesday.

Dhia was reported to have told her mother that she had skipped school because she went out to buy surprise gifts for her parents for their anniversary. – March 17, 2024
