Please help find my daughter: mother’s plea on Raya eve as Qaseh last seen on April 1

Parents have been searching for 14-year-old in Melaka, KL on public tip-off but to no avail

KUALA LUMPUR – Fourteen-year-old Nurqasehku Suhaimi Abdul Rahman, or Qaseh, left her house at 2.18am last Monday, dressed all in black and carrying a helmet, and has yet to return to her home in Tg Minyak, Melaka.

Her mother, Nur Hazlin Mohd Noor, 42, told Scoop that she had not heard from her daughter since April 1 and the girl was last seen on CCTV footage provided by a neighbour.

“I am begging… anyone who has seen my daughter please send her to the nearest police station. My daughter has disappeared since April 1, and until today, I have not heard any news about her.

“Qaseh went out without her identification card, phone or clothes. So, I am appealing to the public to help bring her home.

The family has filed a missing persons report at the Tg Minyak police station.

Nur Hazlin and her husband, Suhaimi Ali, 45, have been searching for Qaseh in Melaka and Kuala Lumpur based on information from members of the public who claimed to have seen Qaseh in certain areas.

“My husband and I have searched everywhere in Melaka. We also spent two days in KL looking for her. But the results have been really disappointing.

“If anyone spots her, please send her straight away to the nearest police station. I am begging you.”

Nur Hazlin said there were no arguments between the two before Qaseh’s disappearance, and she even described her daughter as an obedient child who listened to her parents.

“That is what confuses me. Where did she go these nine days? I am really worried and have not slept worrying about her whereabouts.

“Even though Qaseh is an adopted child and she knows about this (being adopted), my husband and I love her like our own blood because I have taken care of her since she was a baby.

“I really love Qaseh because she is Allah’s blessing to me. What she wants, I will give, and I have never favoured other siblings over her.” – April 9, 2024
