Malaysia4Palestine, a pop-up channel dedicated to the Palestinian cause premieres this weekend on Astro, RTM

Channel will feature interviews, special performances, documentaries to highlight the plight of the Palestinian people

KUALA LUMPUR – Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and Astro have launched a 24-hour pop-up channel Malaysia4Palestine, which will be available between Saturday (12pm) and Sunday (12pm) at no additional charge.

Available on Astro channel 111, Astro GO and sooka, as well as on RTM Klik, the channel is dedicated to highlighting the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. 

The collaboration, which is also on NJOI, Gempak, Xuan and Astro Ulagam, brings together more than 100 talents, influencers, industry players and humanitarian workers to raise awareness for the cause of Palestine. 

The Malaysia4Palestine channel will feature interviews, special performances, and documentaries to highlight the plight of the Palestinian people.

It will also integrate opportunities for viewers to donate to the official fund of Akaun Amanah Kemanusiaan Rakyat Palestin (AAKRP) by scanning the QR code on screen.

Some of the well-known faces are Datuk M. Nasir, Datuk Aznil Nawawi, Datuk Ahmad Faizal Perdaus, Datuk Aaron Aziz, Soo Wincci, Alif Satar, Lisa Surihani, Denes Kumar, Datuk Syafinaz Selamat, Elizabeth Tan, Sherry Alhadad, Ceddy Ang, Nadhir Nasar, Meerqeen, Naim Daniel, Mira Filzah, Bella Astillah, Ella, Thomas Kok, Nabil Ahmad, and others.

By tuning in to the Malaysia4Palestine channel, viewers will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the Palestinian cause through on-screen calls to action. – May 24, 2024
