KUALA LUMPUR — Breast pump manufacturer Spectra has introduced the Spectra Wearable 2, its latest hands-free device designed to make breastfeeding more comfortable and convenient for mothers.
Launched at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, the Wearable 2 aims to give mothers greater mobility and privacy while maintaining hospital-grade performance in a compact form.
Priced at RM1,299, the new model builds on Spectra’s reputation for innovation in breastfeeding technology.
“Breastfeeding should empower mothers, not limit them,” said Spectra Malaysia Managing Director Ken Foo at the event.
“With the Spectra Wearable 2, we’re giving moms the flexibility to pump confidently — whether at home, at work, or on the go — without sacrificing comfort, power, or reliability.”
The Wearable 2 offers a discreet in-bra design that allows mothers to pump without being tethered to a power outlet.
It features customisable settings, including five expression levels, five massage levels and three suction styles. The rechargeable battery lasts up to three hours — or around six pumping sessions — and supports Type-C charging.
Spectra has also made the device easier to clean and assemble, with fewer parts and a larger milk collection capacity of up to 180ml per session.
Each set includes three breast inserts (22mm, 24mm and 26mm), milk storage bags and a pouch for easy transport. A digital display provides real-time updates on suction control, battery level and pumping time.
The launch drew mothers, influencers and members of the parenting community, who were given a first-hand look at the device’s design and features.
The Spectra Wearable 2 is now available through Spectra Malaysia’s authorised retailers and online stores.
