Foreigner found dead on stairwell of Puchong Jaya premises

KUALA LUMPUR — A man believed to be a foreign national was found dead on the staircase of a shophouse here tonight, with initial investigations pointing to possible murder.

Serdang District Police Chief, Muhamad Farid Ahmad confirmed the discovery when contacted, stating that an official statement will be issued soon.

It is understood that the victim, who was working locally, had been renting a room in the premises. His body was discovered by a member of the public at approximately 8.30 pm, prompting immediate response from the authorities.

Members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Dog Detection Unit (K9), along with a sniffer dog, were deployed to the scene to assist in the investigation and handling of the remains.
