WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump has declared the US-Israeli war with Iran “is over,” according to Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo, who previewed her interview with Trump set to air Wednesday morning.

In a video posted on Instagram, Bartiromo said Trump repeatedly referred to the Iran conflict in the past tense. She pressed him directly: “Is it over?”

“He said: ‘It’s over,’” Bartiromo recounted.

The war, which erupted on Feb. 28, has yet to see a permanent settlement.

Talks in Islamabad over the weekend failed to secure an agreement, though negotiators are pushing for another round.

Pakistan, acting as mediator, brokered a two-week ceasefire on April 8 — a truce that continues to hold. – April 15, 2026
