KUALA LUMPUR – Public transport operator Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana) has announced that Amir Hamdan will be stepping down as Group President and Chief Executive Officer (PGCEO) after almost eight years of service.
In a statement, the company said Amir’s decision was made for personal reasons and in line with his career plans moving forward.
“Prasarana would like to express its highest appreciation for his contributions and leadership throughout his tenure, and wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” the statement read.
The company added that Amir played a pivotal role in driving transformation initiatives and strengthening operational structures to deliver improved public transport services for Malaysians.
