Free rides for a month on LRT3

New Shah Alam line connects Petaling Jaya and Klang

KLANG – Commuters on the newly launched Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) line will enjoy free rides including free feeder bus services, for a month from tomorrow.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced this as he launched the service today at the Johan Setia Depot.

Members of the public can use the service for free from June 29-July 31.

The service will connect 20 stations from Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Johan Setia, Klang.

End-to-end journey from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia will cost RM4.90 for cash users.

However those opting for cashless payment will enjoy a lower fare of RM4.30 for the same journey. – June 28, 2026
