KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will work closely with the police to investigate an issue involving My EG Sdn Bhd (MyEG) and Zetrix AI Berhad, following an official complaint received on Oct 7.

In a statement today, MACC said it was aware that the matter was already being investigated by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

“MACC will work closely with PDRM to review and share information in investigating the matter, based on offences that fall under the police’s jurisdiction,” it said.

The commission said PDRM would provide any relevant information if elements of corruption were identified, allowing MACC to take further action.

MACC also welcomed cooperation from any party willing to provide additional information related to the issue.

At the same time, the commission urged the public to refrain from speculating about the investigation or spreading unverified information that could jeopardise the investigative process.

“MACC stresses that it will not compromise on the matter and will conduct its investigations independently, fairly and in accordance with the law,” it said. – October 13, 2026
