[LIVE] Nomination dusted: campaigning kicks off in full swing

With candidates finalised, stage is set for intense contests across six states

7:18 AM MYT

KUALA LUMPUR – It is an exciting day for hundreds of candidates in six states to deliver their nomination documents when the submission window opens from 8am to 11am.

This is also the first time the unity government coalitions – Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional – will test their political cooperation amid previous rivalries to push back Perikatan Nasional’s green wave.

Selangor, along with Negri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu, had chosen not to dissolve their state assemblies with the federal government last year.
