KUALA LUMPUR – Some 29 compounds have been issued, and three food premises ordered shut after City Hall (DBKL) enforcement checks on 18 outlets last Friday night.

In a Facebook post, DBKL said it found that hygiene remains unsatisfactory, especially handling of raw food, cooking utensils, and cleanliness of premises.

“We found that many operators did not take the issue of cleanliness seriously. If you go to the back of these premises, you may lose your appetite.
