Joji cancels tomorrow’s Merdeka Hall show due to health reasons

The humorous singer-songwriter is also cancelling shows in Singapore and Hong Kong

KUALA LUMPUR – Japanese-Australian singer-songwriter Joji has cancelled three upcoming shows, including the one scheduled for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow, due to health reasons.

According to a recent Instagram Story, the shows in Singapore and Hong Kong have also been dropped.

“I will be back I promise!” he said.

Event organiser Live Nation confirmed the show cancellation and that ticket refund details would be announced soon.

“We regret to announce that Joji will not be able to continue his performance for his upcoming Pandemonium Asia show in Kuala Lumpur due to health reasons.

“Ticket refund details will be announced soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused,” it said on Instagram today.

Joji was scheduled to perform at Merdeka Hall tomorrow, and at ZoukOut 2023 in Singapore on December 2, with Hong Kong the following day as part of the Asia leg of his tour.

He had performed in Taipei and Bangkok earlier this week, and Manila last night.

Last year, Joji’s third studio album Smithereens was released early November after his hit ballad Glimpse of Us in June, and Yukon (Interlude) in August. – November 29, 2023
