KUALA LUMPUR – The club licensing unit of the Malaysian Football League (MFL) has received documents on Kelantan FC players and officials’ salary arrears yesterday.

In a statement issued today, MFL said the documents are being reviewed by the First Instance Body (FIB) for any further action.

“Payment verification needs to be carried out by FIB with all parties involved.

“It includes consulting with the Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia before making an announcement on the status of Kelantan FC’s National License application for the 2024-2025 Super League competition,” according to the statement.

The Red Warriors were previously given until November 30 to resolve the issue of player salary arrears for July and August.

Kelantan is the only team that has not yet received a national licence for the 2024/2025 season due to the issue. – December 1, 2023
