Harlem Globetrotters duo to dazzle Malaysian fans on Sunday

They will perform a 10-minute showcase of their signature tricks, dunks, comedic antics

KUALA LUMPUR – Basketball fans in Malaysia are in for a treat as Harlem Globetrotters performers Wham Middleton and Moose Weekes arrive in Kuala Lumpur for promotional events ahead of their Asia Tour in November.

Middleton and Weekes will perform tomorrow during the National Under-21 3×3 Championships at Berjaya Times Square and the FIBA Asia Under-18 qualifier at Maba Stadium. 

Each event will feature a 10-minute showcase of their signature tricks, dunks, and comedic antics.

Weekes, known for his high-flying skills and iconic afro, stands at 2.03m tall and wears No. 45. 

A standout college player at Middle Tennessee State, he set school records in shot-blocking.

Middleton, standing at 1.74m tall and wearing No. 40, is renowned for his ball-handling skills. 

He holds eight Guinness World Records and was named top rookie in his Globetrotters debut season. – July 20, 2024
