KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s men’s doubles duo Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Mohd Rumsani ended their title drought in style, clinching the Indonesia Masters 2026 crown in Jakarta today.

Ranked ninth in the world, the pair delivered a composed performance to defeat Indonesian favourites Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin 21-19, 21-13 in just 37 minutes at the iconic Istora Senayan.

The victory also served as redemption, coming after their semi-final defeat to the same opponents at the Australian Open last year.

Malaysia’s triumph marked a hat-trick at the tournament, following earlier wins by mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie–Toh Ee Wei and women’s doubles duo Pearly Tan–M. Thinaah.

It was also Sze Fei–Nur Izzuddin’s first title of 2026, after early exits at the Malaysia Open and India Open earlier this month.

As champions, they pocketed USD39,500 (RM158,217) in prize money. – January 25, 2026
