Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) in Perak will be transformed into the nation's first Accelerated Programme for Excellence (Apex) Polytechnic, offering advanced and competitive courses, said Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
