Ceiling prices have been imposed on 14 items, including imported bone-in lamb, pork, poultry and selected vegetables, as part of the Christmas 2023 price-control scheme between December 23 and 27.
The government will study the proposal to raise the ceiling price of local white rice, said Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.
