PKA, Westports to evaluate impact of govt’s curbs on Israel-linked ships

Port Klang Authority and Westports Holdings Bhd will evaluate the ramifications of prohibiting Israeli cargo shipping operator Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd vessels from docking in Port Klang following Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s directive yesterday.

In addition, the prime minister said ships displaying the Israeli flag or those heading to Israel are banned from docking or loading cargo at Malaysian ports, effective immediately.
