Ed Sheeran’s recent visit to Malaysia was not just about captivating audiences with his musical prowess at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, he also found time for some unexpected offstage adventures – including a friendly badminton match with national shuttler Chan Peng Soon.
According to Malaysia Stadium Corp (PSM) and a source in the entertainment industry, Rapid Rail explained this in an email to both parties that it could not extend operating hours as it had to conduct scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance work.
This was stated in two separate federal gazettes published by the Attorney-General’s Chambers on February 23 under the Entertainments Duty (Exemption) Order 2024
