Police last night detained a woman who allegedly splashed hot water on a man with Down syndrome in an apartment elevator here yesterday. Southwest acting police chief Jafri Md Zain said the 39-year-old suspect was detained at 9.21pm on the apartment grounds.
A man with Down syndrome sustained burns on his body suspected to be caused by scalding hot water when he was in the elevator of an apartment building in Jalan Rajawali, Bayan Lepas, here, this morning.
