The number of flood evacuees in three states continued to record a downward trend, to 1,483 people housed in 15 temporary relief centres, as of 6am today, compared with 1,675 people in 16 centres, reported last night.

Number of flood evacuees in five states rises to over 28,000

The number of flood evacuees being housed at 137 relief centres in five states rose to 28,032 this morning from 25,763 last night.

Floods in four states force 18,735 to flee their homes

A total of 18,735 people have been evacuated to 199 relief centres due to floods in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Selangor.

Pahang to open five permanent shelters in flood hotspots to ensure locals’ well-being

The Pahang government is setting up five permanent flood relief centres, costing almost RM31 million, in five districts. This is aimed to ensure the comfort of flood-affected residents, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
