Cops nab teacher for allegedly molesting student, student’s dad for extorting teacher

Ipoh police chief Yahaya Hassan said the 59-year-old male teacher was detained after the 14-year-old victim lodged a report on February 12, and then they received a report from the teacher on February 13 about the alleged extortion by the victim’s 50-year-old father to settle the case.

In a statement, Ipoh police chief Yahaya Hassan said the 44-year-old individual will also be remanded on December 16 for further investigations.
