K. Saraswathy said the matter was among issues raised by representatives of the Indian community non-governmental organisations at a programme here today, in which she explained to them the various initiatives provided by the government for the community.
The Court of Appeal’s decision today that vernacular schools are constitutional should put a stop to future attempts to dispute their existence, Deputy Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister K. Saraswathy said.
