The processing times for foreign worker levy refunds will be shortened, effective today, to introduce more employer and industry-friendly refund policies, according to Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Speaking at a special media conference today, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said that based on the decision approved during today's cabinet meeting, undocumented workers who wish to return to their home countries would be allowed to do so after settling compounds for the immigration offences that they committed.
