Age limit and the ownership period of B2 motorcycle licences are among the factors that need to be considered before the proposal to automatically upgrade to a B licence can be finalised, according to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Motorcyclists will soon be able to escape the worry of being involved in an accident or getting soaked when it rains with the government’s plan to build 119 motorcycle shelters on highways nationwide.
A total of 119 shelters will be built on highways nationwide under the Bitara Madani initiative as an effort to make it easier for motorcyclists to seek shelter, especially during bad weather, said Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
