Simpang Jeram assemblyman Nazri Abdul Rahman took his oath of office at the Third Meeting of the Second Session of the 15th Johor State Assembly at the Sultan Ismail Building, Kota Iskandar, here today.
The double victory in the Pulai and Simpang Jeram by-elections clearly shows that Umno is a loyal friend despite the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional pact lost seats in the six state elections last month, said Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated Pakatan Harapan candidates Suhaizan Kayat and Nazri Abdul Rahman for winning and retaining the Pulai parliamentary and Simpang Jeram state seats for the coalition in yesterday’s by-elections.
